LitMuse
The name LitMUSE represents our goals and focus. ??Lit? stands for both literature and literacy, and ??MUSE? is both an acronym for Multi-User Simulated Environment and the Greek word for the fount and guarantor of memory.
With a focus on promoting technological literacy within a (post)humanistic milieu, LitMUSE hopes to foster an ever-growing community of learners who work together to build text-based, virtual environments while addressing a variety of interests. LitMUSE relies on the collective memories of its many participants to construct a world that celebrates humanity in VR with hopes that what is learned here can positively influence RL.
